Girls and young women everywhere deserve to feel safe, heard, and understood. The transition between adolescence and adulthood comes with challenges for girls of all backgrounds, and each one deserves support. While most of us gain a patchwork of life skills, everyone grows up with blind spots. ECHO helps girls and young women navigate those areas of ambiguity and develop solid values and a sense of self. Unfortunately, many girls and young women experience abuse, negative thinking, anxiety, and depression at some point in their lives. Sometimes this leads to isolation, fear-based thinking, and substance abuse. ECHO’s founder Adriana Hogan, a trained psychologist, understands that taking proactive measures early in a girl’s life can have a profound effect on her future.

Building Self-Esteem, Reinforcing Positive Values

ECHO exists to provide girls with life skills and support that many people never receive, even as adults. We are a judgment-free zone and might be the only place a girl can find unconditional acceptance in her life. ECHO pays close attention to each girl to learn what they need to flourish. Then, we design a specific program for her with those needs in mind.

ECHO’s girls and young women receive customized real-world education taught by experts on a range of topics, from balancing a budget to pursuing their dream job. We teach girls how to use healthy coping strategies to overcome hardships, build strong self-esteem, and form healthy habits. They can also develop life-long relationships with mentors and their sisters in the program, and learn how to show up for others in a positive way.

Today, I am here, I am brave.
Today, I am here to have your back.
Today, I am here to be your voice.
Today, I am here to walk together.

I think Echo has the potential to truly change the way in which women interact with one another

I think Echo has the potential to truly change the way in which women interact with one another. Instead of seeing each other as competition, they can learn to lift each other up even when they have different opinions.

I cannot imagine a better resource for girls

A girl with confidence is UNSTOPPABLE yet we all have our moments where we doubt ourselves or struggle with our confidence, especially in those crucial developmental years. If I could do anything in this world to help our future generations of girls, it would be to help them learn to be confident, love themselves & be self-sufficient in life.
